Each day we take about 25000 bReaths. Somewhere around 13000 liters of air. We should breathe From our stomach not our chest, yet when we’re stressed and moving too fast we BreatHe with our chesTs. We should bE taking 4 to 6 breaths per minute, but most oF us take 16 to 20 breaths per minute. Experts say that from our breathing we shoulD get more than 90 percent of our energy, however they say most of us only acceSs 10 to 20 percent of that energy. There’s this paradox at the heart of what it means to be a human being. We’re fragile and vUlnerable, we come from the dust. Yet at the same time we’Ve been breathed into by the creator of the universe. And this divine breath is in every Single human being.

When you let God in, when you breathe, what happens is you become aware of all the things you need to leave behind, everything you need to let go of. If you were to be totally honest about what’s going on inside of you, is there anything you need right now to breathe out?
You are a sacred creation of God. The divine breath is flowing through you, and it’s flowing through the person next to you and it’s flowing through the person next to them. You are on holy ground. There is a holiness to the people around uS and how you treat them. Jesus said that whatever you do for them, you’ve done for him.
I am now a double amputee. I lost both of my legs to the car accident. I am in constant pain and wish I could slip away. The doctors don’t know if my condition will improve or worsen due to my pre-existing heart condition. They think I might die. No parent should have to watch their child die.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
