Book Exhibition on New Arrivals
On the the occasion of Library Week Celebrations Celebrations (from 14-20th November 2017) the Department of library and information science conducted "Book Exhibition On New Arrivals added to the library" on wednesday , 17th November 2017 at 10.00 am in the reading room of the library.
Sri C.H.Raj Kumar, Incharge of Principal SCIM Government Degree College,Tanuku inaugurated and visited book exhibition.He delivered an inspirational speech on importance of library books.
National Online Library Quiz on General Knowledge
On the the occasion of 54th National library week celebrations (14th -20th of November 2021) the department of library and information science conducted " State Level Online Library Quiz on G.K." from 15-11-2021 to 20-11-2021.
This online library quiz was prepared by Ch.N.Bhavani,Librarian by using Google form and send it to all academic Institutions.

All participants who score 40% and above will get e-certificate.
220 staff and students are participated at state level.

The library takes an active part in the orientation programme organized by the institute for the benefit of new students in the beginning
of academic year. Library tour is one of the orientation programmes. Smt .Ch.N.Bhavani, Librarian conducted library tour on
06-12-2021 for first year degree students to taken around the library to familiarize them with various resources and services
available in the library. Individual Training programmes on access of e-resources are also conducted for the students for better usage
of the library .
Swatch Bharat Programme by NSS Students in the Library
Dr. Kishor , NSS Coordinator, Smt.Ch.N.Bhavani,Librarian and Twenty NSS Students are actively participated for cleaning the library books in the library under Swatch Bharat Programme on 06-12-2021.
