I graduated as a Clinical Psychologist from the Catholic University of Colombia in 2006, where I worked as a psychotherapist at the university-based ambulatory psychological centre delivering treatment to individuals who suffered from diverse psychological disorders. I then moved to London where I continued my clinical practice, in particular this time helping people from Ibero-american communities deal with cultural adaptation issues (i.e., suffering from the Ulysses Syndrome). In 2011 I worked for an NHS foundation trust centre helping individuals with addiction problems.

In 2012 I completed an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of East London, during which I furthered my research in Equivalence Relations (i.e., learning associative processes involved in language). After, I worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Prof. Tom Dickins and Assoc. Prof. Jackie Gray at Middlesex University, investigating cooperation via micro-economic paradigms.
