ABOUT THE APP
Science Bee Coach is a study app for students preparing for Science Bee competitions at the Elementary, Middle School, and High School / JV / Varsity levels. It includes a pyramidal buzzer, ORQE and NQE simulators, flashcards, daily challenges, and power drills — all built from real archived competition questions.

What is the Pyramidal Buzzer?
The pyramidal buzzer reads each tossup question aloud sentence by sentence. Buzz in early for more points (up to 6), or wait for the final "For the point..." clue for the minimum (3 points). This mirrors the actual Science Bee competition format.
What is the ORQE Simulator?
Available in the Elementary / Middle School section. A timed 50-question multiple choice exam drawn from real ORQE question banks. You have 20 minutes. Scoring: +2 correct, −1 incorrect, 0 unanswered.
What is the NQE Simulator?
Available in the High School / JV / Varsity section. A timed 50-question exam drawn from real NQE question banks spanning multiple competition years. Same scoring applies. You can pause the timer, jump between questions, and review blanks before submitting.
How does Focus on Weak Topics work?
The app tracks your accuracy by topic as you answer questions. Topics where you score lowest appear first when you select Focus on Weak Topics in Flashcards or Power Drill. You need at least 3 answered questions in a topic for it to appear.
What does the daily streak track?
Your streak counts consecutive days on which you completed at least one Daily Challenge. It resets if you miss a day.
How do I turn haptics on or off?
From the Home screen, tap Stats and scroll to the Settings section. You can toggle haptic feedback globally, and separately enable Answer Selection Vibration for a stronger buzz when tapping an answer.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. All question content is stored on your device. No internet is needed to study.
What data does the app collect?
None. Science Bee Coach does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All stats, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device only. No account is required.
The audio isn't playing. What should I do?
— Check that your iPhone is not on silent mode
— Make sure the volume is turned up
— If on WiFi and audio isn't loading, toggle WiFi off and back on
— Force-quit the app and reopen it
— Restart your iPhone
The app crashed or something isn't working.

Science Bee Coach does not collect any personal information. All data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to any server.
