-Autobiography-

I am a Newberry County native and a graduate of Whitmire High School. I earned my Associate's degree from the University of South Carolina at Union, my Bachelor's degree from Newberry College, and my Master's and Educational Specialist's degrees from Liberty University. I have taught for over 25 years in South Carolina public schools and in public and private schools in North Carolina and Florida. My teaching experience includes every grade from Pre-K through 12th grade and every core subject with most of my teaching experience in middle school science. 

My husband and I have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of three wonderful daughters and four fantastic sons, two lovely daughters-in-love and two fabulous sons-in-law. We have three beautiful granddaughters and six handsome grandsons.

I am looking forward to a terrific year at Newberry Middle School! Seventh grade is a year of tremendous growth and learning opportunities. Together, we can do great things!
