On October 7-8, 2021, the United Nations Foundation launched the #GirlsTakingOver global campaign to celebrate the 2021 International Day of the Girl. Girl activists took over the social media accounts of high-profile gender equality advocates for one day to highlight their visions for the future.
Angela was nominated to promote girls' involvement in STEM.
