Teams will decode, cryptanalyze, and solve encrypted messages using a variety of classic and modern cryptanalysis techniques, demonstrating skill with ciphers by decrypting messages in a competitive, exam-based format.
Each team will demonstrate an intuitive feeling for estimating and later for measuring different events/objects using SI metric units.
One participant will write a detailed description of a constructed object and how to build it. The other participant, using only this description, will attempt to reconstruct the object as accurately as possible. This event tests each team's ability to communicate complex information precisely and clearly.
Each team will design, conduct, and report the findings of an experiment entirely on-site.
