Why is it important?

Carbon Footprint Management is important because the issue of climate change is impacting the world and Carbon Footprints allow us to quantify the issue. By quantifying the issue, we can identify where contributions to this global issue take place. Then, we can solve!

The United Nations also utilizes carbon footprints as a method of measurement of the current ongoing crisis. Their research says that higher-income countries have a carbon footprint per capita that is 10 times larger than lower-income countries. Despite calls for a phase-out of fossil fuels, the returns have nearly doubled due to global crises.

 
We are predicted to be on track for the world to exceed 1.5 ºC by 2035 and face a 2.5 ºC warming by 2100.

The UN's reports show that sea-level rise has already doubled in the last decade.
