Overview
The 3rd SCI-SCI Korea Workshop welcomes researchers, experts, and scholars eager to explore the collective systems that shape scientific discovery and innovation. Under the broad framework of the Science of Science, we seek to understand the complex mechanisms through which knowledge, innovations, and breakthroughs emerge, circulate, and catalyze future discovery.
We invite contributions from a broad spectrum of disciplines and fields—spanning statistical physics, computer science, information science, scientometrics, economics, management, sociology, and science and technology studies, but not limited to them. We seek submissions that propose bold research questions, present rigorous empirical findings, or introduce methodological innovations. We hope to advance our understanding of how funding architectures, collaborative networks, and epistemic cultures shape the trajectory of research, and the broader social, institutional, global dynamics that translate individual insights into collective discovery and innovation.
We hope this workshop serves as a platform to foster early-stage collaboration and cultivate a vibrant interdisciplinary intellectual community dedicated to analyzing the structural and institutional dynamics that operate across Korean, Asian, and global networks of discovery and innovation.
