First match @ Cocoa

Our first match of the season was yesterday, Aug 25th, at Turtle Creek Golf Course vs Cocoa. As always it was a good time filled with laughs and, "what just happened," moments. Our Vipers took home the victory and helped a brand new Cocoa player along the way. Cocoa only had two players due to COVID quarantines and one had just picked up a club for the first time days before!

Justyce Davey took home her first match medalist (1st place) with a career best match score of 54! Congratulations Justyce! Our seniors, Kaitlyn Davis and Kayla Schooler, scored below their last years averages, way to go seniors! Junior Jorja Monismith also scored a career best match score yesterday! I saw Aleeyah Dunleavy and Mackenzie Cope hit some fantastics shots and I know there are more to come. :)

While yesterday was a happy day getting back on the course there were also some misty eyes for our seniors reminiscing on their "last first match," but you didn't hear that from me. Shhh... Looking forward to our next match, see you on the course. :)
