Hope4Health is a nonprofit was founded by Grace Liu back in 2024 and has spread it's influence and message all around the world, even stemming into Silver Creek Highschool.

The SCHS H4H Chapter was founded in 2026, lead by the (current 2026-2027) president Yvonne Nguyen. On Instagram (the main focus of our work), H4H is known to post awareness posts related to health-related issues in a way to educate and uplift others.

Hellooo Hopefuls! I'm Yvonne Nguyen, the president and chapter founder of SCHSH4H for the 2026-2027 term!

I've watched how thousands of teens neglect their health online, and SCHS is no different. With a strong metabolism and parents taking care of teens prior to adulthood, it is very easy to think that taking care of your body does not have to be a priority. Meanwhile, misinformation regarding diseases, health conditions, and neurodevelopment disorders spreads quickly due to a lack of evidence online posted by people who may not even be medically certified. Therefore, SCHSH4H seeks to provide accurate and reliable information to the rest of our peers on how we can be better educated on taking care of ourselves, both mentally and physically.

The human body is extremely complex. Fractures within your bones can heal themselves with proper attention. Paper cuts close themselves back to normal as if your skin is fabric and the cells become thread. However, vital organs like your brain and heart are valuable and cannot heal themselves as effectively as smaller injuries. Even your skin, the largest organ in the human body, can even develop skin cancer due to excess amounts of UV exposure.  That's why maintaining good health is essential, no matter what age you are.

Hope4Health resonated with me in multiple aspects, primarily in how the nonprofit started from another teen at James Logan High School advocating her invisible conditions and sharing vulnerable stories. As someone who also has scoliosis but not to the extent Grace had, I completely understand her struggles and want to spread her visions further for SCHS to see. 

I'm really excited to see what the future holds for Hope4Health here at Creek, and I can't wait to introduce what we have planned!
