The very beginning of this micronation started when Ruby Specht had the idea after watching several videos about the micronation Molossia. He started "Monarchy Of Schpecktenia" and was renamed Queen Ruby I. The flag briefly had purple instead of blue.

Schpecktenia turned into the Grand Empire of Schpecktenia, and the King was now Emperor Ruby I. He  aimed to taking as much territory as possible, but his own home, The Province of Meadowen, and The Province of Shadowfoxia would be just fine for now. Ruby was feeling aggressive towards Fort Woodchuck, a nation controlling where Schpecktenia resides. The nation was socialist, which fueled Ruby's anger to the country. Ruby claimed that "war with Fort Woodchuck is inevitable, so they shall be prepared." The war was waiting to happen, until Ruby had some untimely criticism.

Ruby was deeply saddened and lost all motivation to continue her nation. November 25, 2022 through January 16th, 2023 was know as "The Dark Era for Schpecktenia."

The fall of an empire and the birth of the Second Republic of Schpecktenia rose on January 16th, 2023. Ruby re-read her constitution and gained back all motivation to make Schpecktenia thrive. She threw out all her Imperial dreams, and claimed the St. Louis area as her own. She made the flag a lighter color, renamed herself President Ruby I, and recognized Albania. 

Schpecktenia partnered with Rycocia and the Kingdom of Turisa to form the Organization of Great States, a mutual alliance and helpful connections between many micronations. If a war between Schpecktenia and Fort Woodchuck was to happen soon, The OGS would be on our side. Schpecktenia met a close ally, Liveno. Liveno and Schpecktenia had great relations for a small period. 

An ally in the OGS had a short war with the Ertelian Republic, Schpecktenia tried to help, but the war ended before they could do anything. 

Schpecktenia's ally, Liveno, was a very easy target for annexation. Ruby I declared war on Liveno, and Schpecktenia took part in the first invasion of the nation's history. The Schpecktenia-Liveno War was short lived, only lasting four days. 

After the Schpecktenia-Liveno War, the two nations became close allies once again. Schpecktenia thrived wonderfully, and the economy was becoming stable. IIDs, the Colony of Merrifield, a new citizen, and new laws were made in this period. Schpecktenia made even more allies than imaginable, but relations with the OGS were slowly falling apart. Rycocia, the chairman of the OGS, resigned and gave power the the TDC Empire. The TDC did not last too long, and they also resigned. The new chairman, the Conservative Creek Republic, made many changes to the OGS, including new verification rules for incoming member-states. Many nations were denied membership, and Ruby I took action. Schpecktenia founded the Malic Alliance Organization, the MAO was to give support to nations that were denied from the OGS and the Harmony Alliance, and the MAO was to prosper. 

The Schpecktenian Civil War, or officially knowns as The Two Days War, started on 12 February. After two days of battle, the Second Republic beat the Schpecktenian People's Front. Tallerico pointed out that Schpecktenia was very imperial, so Ruby I changed how Schpecktenia was seen.

The Third Empire was similar to the Second Republic, but with the objective of making colonies, territories, and imperial protectorates. Schpecktenian government made it so colonies could only be made by government officials that have been to the land before, or else the president had to make it a territory. Citizens could request for land to be made into an imperial protectorate. So many new ideas happened, like the language of Lakewood, new land, and new citizens. 

Schpecktenia started the Mille Lacs Colonization, a way for many allies to get colonial land. The colonization happened smoothly, so Ruby I did another called the Pelican Lake Colonization. This event nearly started a major war, because both Schpecktenia and Ghurklas wanted the Breezy Point Colony. Schpecktenia let Ghurklas have it, but jokingly threatened that they would take it by force. Ghurklas declared war. When they did this, Ruby I was out of country, so it took 3 hours for Ruby to find out. Rycocia, Aldonia, and Roekistan allied with Ghurklas. When Ruby found this out, he went over the deep end. Schpecktenia cut ties with Roekistan, but tried to avoid the war and handled the conflict diplomatically. It took a whole day of holding meetings, but the war ended. After the war, Ruby I decided to change the flag back to the Second Republic flag.

 Ruby I banned Ghurklas peoples from entering Schpecktenia in any way, and now distrusted Roekistan. Roekistan saw this whole conflict as an attack on them, so they now were hostile to both Schpecktenia and Liveno. The three nations have always been close, but for whatever reason Roekistan deeply hated the two countries. Constant bashing and arguing happened across many servers, so Schpecktenia and Liveno completely cut ties with Roekistan, forever. If the nations stopped communicating all together, it would prevent a major war.

The fighting constantly made Ruby I realize that being in contact with so many micronations made it harder to progress as a nation, so she thought entering isolationism would help Schpecktenia a ton. A new discord was made, and Schpecktenia still allied with Liveno, Rycocia, and the Oakforvian Empire.

The Third Empire changed the flag back to the Second Republic flag, and little was done in the nation.

Very briefly, Schpecktenia converted to the Meadowen Empire on 4/22, which was to be very similar to the Grand Empire of Schpecktenia. Ruby had no motivation, and she decided to give all of Schpecktenia to Haltenburg.

Schpecktenia became the Client State of Haltenburg, which soon became Regno d'Italia, and a second "dark times" began. Ruby pursued other things, and nothing was done.

Schpecktenia gained their independence once again, and quickly reformed the government to be better. A new discord server was made, regions were put into effect to replace provinces, and Liveno became an even better ally. The Lackluster war was fought and lost, Schpecktenia pledges to be a better and peaceful nation in the future. Schpecktenia had a language reform, adding new letters and some words. A month later, New Prussia, an ex-region of Schpecktenia that became independent, declared war on Schpecktenia. The war ends in a draw, and the two nations agree to be better. Schpecktenia expands the mainland with the Goshen Plan, adding several new regions. Lakewood words are expanded, and pets are able to become citizens. Colin Houston becomes the Runen Executive Officer, the Schpecktenian version of vice presidents.
