• We collect location (GPS) and accelerometer (x/y/z) data from your device.
  
  

• This data is only collected while the app is actively displayed on your screen, never in the background.
  
  

b. Account Information

  • Hashed password
    
    

  • Last login date

2. How Your Data is Stored

• All data collected on your device is stored locally until you choose to upload it.
  
  

• Uploaded data is anonymized before it is sent to our server. Once anonymized, it is impossible to trace back to you personally.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Uploaded anonymized data is used to create aggregated heatmaps and contribute to shared road quality maps.
  
  

• Your email address and other personal information are never shared publicly.

4. Data Upload and Control

• Uploading ride data is completely optional. You can choose when and if you want to share your rides.
  
  

• You can delete your account instantly from the app by navigating to the Account screen and pressing the Delete button.
  
  

• Deleting your account will remove all your local data and account information from our servers.
  
  

• Uploaded anonymized data cannot be deleted, as it no longer contains information that can identify your account

5. Security

• We store account information securely using industry-standard hashing and encryption methods.
  
  

• While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your Rights

• You have the right to delete your account at any time.
  
  

• You can opt out of uploading your rides, keeping your data only on your device.

7. Updates to This Policy

• This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
  
  

• Continued use of the app after updates signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
