What is Schools for the Planet?
Schools for the Planet is an organization that aims to engage and empower growing communities of young conservationists in schools across Southeast Asia.
For its first year, it is launching in Mindanao, in the Philippines.
Why work with schools?
SFTP sees the potential of schools to be vibrant spaces for the growth and development of our future conservationists.
We strongly believe in the power of community and collaboration.
This is why it also aims to engage and empower the adult community members--teachers, staff, administrators, and local leaders--to be co-creators and facilitators in the process of inspiring our students to be conservationists.
These are a series of workshops for members of environmental organizations in schools across Mindanao.
An initiative that will engage and empower the adult community in schools to intensify and reimagine environmental education all over Davao City.
