About Us

My name is Yesenia Cusell and I am so thankful for the opportunity to share with you a little about myself and the mission of Schoolhouse Online LLC.

My grandparents fled Cuba in 1959 and 1967 seeking freedom and better opportunities for themselves and their children. They struggled greatly when they arrived here, primarily with the language barrier and access to adequate resources. I am so richly blessed to be bilingual and since my first day of kindergarten until now I have often been sought to translate and serve others.

Schoolhouse Online LLC is a response in obedience to the call from God to serve as an ambassador of communication to non-native English speaking adults as well as children.

I have extensive experience serving adults and children in bridging the gap in English-language family communication. I taught level 1 English classes in Adult Education for seven years and I taught K-3 elementary school for 12 years for the school district of Palm Beach County. I earned my bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism, which has made me a much stronger teacher and communicator. I am ESE, Reading and ESOL Endorsed by the state of Florida. My passion is to serve the Lord with the gifts He has given me and to empower families much like my own in accessing the English language effectively.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child!
