Collaborating, Resource Sharing and Learning From Each Other

Welcome to the National Alliance of School Crisis Responders Site

Who are we? The National Alliance of School Crisis Responders, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is a group of people who respond to school crises in the United States and beyond. We recognize the uniqueness of our role as school crisis responders, and are committed to serving our communities by caring for them on their worst days. We also help schools prevent and prepare for crises before they happen.

What do we do? The Alliance is building resources for school crisis responders.  These resources will offer evidence-based best practices in school crisis response. There will also be resources for when the worst happens. These resources will help crisis response and help those responding.

Why should I join? The Alliance is for all crisis responders. This alliance is designed to support crisis responders and provide resources and consultation on school crisis. Anyone who responds to school crises is welcome to join.

What is the NASCR State-Level Work Group? This is a group of crisis responders at the state education association level. This group will meet to share best practices and ideas to better each state's practices.
