the effects
Bullying can cause depression, self-harm, psychosis, and even suicide. In a 2019 study 50% of students stated that they were bullied. Of that number, 35% of students do not get any help when asked and 23% do not tell anyone at all. Furthermore, studies show that many existing anti-bullying campaigns are not being effective.
Unawareness
Unawareness
The root cause of bullying is unawareness of both the effects and the stereotypes. Most bullying is based on stereotypes that are untrue and don't apply to everyone. If more people knew this there would be less bullying.
