연세대학교 심리학과 학교 및 진로상담 연구실은 이기학 교수님의 지도 아래 전 생애에 걸친 진로발달과 진로적응을 연구합니다. 

개인이 진로를 선택하고 발달시키는 과정을 이론적으로 분석하고 모형화하며, 이를 측정하는 도구를 개발합니다. 청소년의 학교 적응, 성인도래기 청년의 대학-직장 이행, 다양한 생애단계 성인의 직업적응을 주요 주제로 다루며, 진로정체감과 진로적응성, 일의 의미를 탐구하고 일과 가정 등 여러 생애역할을 함께 수행하는 다중역할 경험에도 주목합니다. 

개인의 심리적 특성뿐 아니라 사회경제적 제약과 고용불안정 같은 환경적 맥락도 함께 고려합니다. 이러한 요인이 진로 선택의 자유와 양질의 일에 대한 접근에 어떻게 영향을 주는지, 그리고 양질의 일이 어떠한 욕구 충족을 거쳐 일과 삶의 만족, 심리적 적응으로 이어지는지 살펴봅니다. 

본 연구실은 상담심리학의 과학자-실무자 모델에 따라 연구와 상담 실제를 연계합니다. 구성원들은 교내 학생상담센터 등 상담 현장에서 한국상담심리학회를 비롯한 주요 학회가 인증하는 상담 전문 자격 취득을 위한 수련을 하며, 연구자이자 상담자로서의 역량을 기르고 있습니다.

Welcome to the School and Career Counseling Lab at Yonsei University, led by Dr. Ki-Hak Lee. 

We study how people develop and adapt in their careers across the lifespan, from school adjustment in adolescence to the college-to-work transition in emerging adulthood and work adjustment throughout adulthood. 

We build and test theoretical models of how people make career choices and grow in their careers, and we develop measures to assess these processes. Our work focuses on vocational identity, career adaptability, and meaningful work, as well as how people balance multiple roles across work, family, and other parts of their lives. 

We also look beyond individual factors to the broader contexts that shape people’s careers, such as socioeconomic constraints and job insecurity. We’re especially interested in how these factors affect work volition and access to decent work, and in which psychological needs explain how decent work leads to greater job satisfaction, life satisfaction, and well-being. 

Guided by the scientist–practitioner model of counseling psychology, our team brings research and practice together. Lab members gain supervised counseling experience in on- and off-campus settings as they work toward becoming certified counseling psychologists through the Korean Counseling Psychological Association and other leading professional associations.
