IELI-SOFT ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have when you use the School Master mobile application ("the App").
School Master is a school communication platform designed to connect school administrators, teachers, and parents in an organized and private environment.
School Master has three types of users, each with a different privacy profile:
Administrators and Teachers create accounts with an email address and password, and provide personal information as described in Section 3.
Parents join a classroom using a simple invite code. Joining creates a lightweight account tied to their device. Parents provide their name, and may optionally provide a phone number and email address so their teacher can reach them and so their account can be recovered if they reinstall the App.
Students do not have accounts in School Master and do not interact directly with the App. The App is intended for use by adults (school staff and parents/guardians).
When you register, we collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your password (stored in encrypted form — we never see it in plain text)
When you use the App, we also store:
School name and configuration
Classroom names and structure
Posts, announcements, and any attachments you upload
Device push notification tokens (to deliver notifications to your device)
When a parent joins a classroom, we collect:
Their name (required, so teachers know who they are speaking with)
A phone number and/or contact email address (optional, used so the school can reach them and so their account can be matched back to them after a reinstall)
The device's push notification token, which is used to deliver notifications and to derive the parent's account identity on that device. This means a parent's account is tied to their device and classroom rather than to an email/password login.
School Master does not create accounts for students or children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at support@ieli-soft.com and we will delete it promptly.
We use the data we collect solely to operate the App:
To authenticate your account and keep it secure
To display your school's classrooms, posts, and announcements
To send push notifications about new posts and updates
To allow administrators to manage their school and invite teachers
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 5.
School Master uses the following services to operate. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf; none of them uses your data for advertising:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) — manages account login and security, stores school, classroom, and post data and uploaded attachments, runs our server logic, and delivers push notifications
RevenueCat — manages school subscription billing status; receives an account identifier (your user ID) and device metadata, never your name or messages
All data stored through Firebase is hosted on Google Cloud servers and is governed by Google's security standards and privacy policies (Google Privacy Policy). RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics services that track personal behavior, or any other third-party service that accesses your personal data.
School Master is designed so that each user only sees what is relevant to them:
Administrators can see all classrooms, teachers, and posts within their school.
Teachers can see and manage posts within their own classrooms.
Parents can only see posts in the specific classroom they have joined. They cannot see other classrooms, teacher accounts, or any administrative information.
Your personal information (name, email) is never shown to parents. Parents only see the content you choose to post.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
Deleting your account: every user (administrator, teacher, or parent) can permanently delete their account directly inside the App: open Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile (name, phone, contact email), your bookmarks, your notifications, your push notification token, and your login account itself. Content created for the school (classrooms, posts, announcements) belongs to the school and is retained under the school's control.
If you no longer have the App installed, you can request deletion by emailing support@ieli-soft.com from the address associated with your account (or including your name and school). We will complete the deletion within 30 days.
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right to correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
Right to deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
Right to portability — request your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@ieli-soft.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data:
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
Passwords are never stored in plain text (handled by Firebase Authentication)
Access to school data is restricted by role — teachers cannot access other schools, parents cannot access teacher accounts
No system is completely secure. If you discover a security issue, please report it to support@ieli-soft.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes — for example, changes to what data we collect or how we use it — we will notify you through a visible notice inside the App before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
Continued use of the App after a policy change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please contact us:
