PLN stands for Professional Learning Network which is an individuals personal collection of resources used to improve themselves professionally. My PLN is "housed" on two main online locations: Twitter and Facebook. I use both websites differently but at times I follow the same individuals on both sites. I typically use Facebook to share personal information about my family and I "save" educational posts that I want to reference later. I use Twitter to share successes in my career and I re-Tweet posts I find to be helpful or that I want to reference later. When I am researching or planning a lesson or professional development session I will go straight to certain blogs such as: Edutopia, ShakeUpLearning, DitchthatTextbook, or Alice Keeler. I also use the google search engine and Youtube to find more supporting resources.
