Nicole moved to Tredyffrin Township in 2007. She and her husband Alex have raised three kids in TESD. Her daughter is a sophomore at Franklin and Marshall College, her son is a senior at Conestoga, and her other son is a 10th grader at Delaware Valley Friends School.
Nicole served for five years on the Board of Directors at Trinity Preschool while her children attended the school. While her kids were in elementary school Nicole became the Vice-President of Cultural Arts at Hillside Elementary, bringing authors, artists, dancers and more to enhance our children's education. Nicole currently serves on the District Inter-School Council as co-chair, on the TESD Curriculum Council, and was a member of the 2022-23 TESD Strategic Planning Group.
Nicole currently teaches at Trinity Preschool in Berwyn, working with toddlers through 5 year olds. Earlier in her career, Nicole worked for many years as a licensed social worker in foster care, early intervention, and medical and psychiatric hospitals in Delaware, Virginia, and Massachusetts. Nicole earned her Masters in clinical social work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her Bachelors in foreign service from Georgetown University.
At FLITE (Foundations for Learning in Tredyffrin/Easttown), Nicole is Vice-Chair for the Board of Trustees, and has worked as the Programs Committee chair for three years. She is a passionate supporter of FLITE's mission to eliminate barriers TESD students face in accessing all of the educational opportunities that our district provides.
As a School Board member, Nicole will continue devoting her energy to TESD, because she believes that the best way to create the community you want to see is to be an active part of it.
