Thank you for using Timetable Schedule ("the App"), developed by Astrotechs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.

This App is intended for students, educators, and anyone who needs to organise a recurring weekly or custom schedule.
3.1 Information You Provide
All data entered into the App is created by you and stored locally on your device. This includes:
• Timetable configurations (number of days, time slots, start times, durations)
• Class details you enter: subject name, instructor name, room/location, and notes
• Saved timetable names and schedule snapshots
• Time format preference (12-hour or 24-hour)
None of this information is transmitted to Astrotechs or any third-party server.
3.2 Automatically Collected Information
The App does not automatically collect personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or any form of telemetry. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
3.3 Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permission:
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) — used solely to deliver local class reminder notifications scheduled by you. No notification data is transmitted externally.
We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, or any other sensitive device resource.
Since all data remains on your device, its use is entirely local. Specifically:
• Timetable data is used to display your schedule, render slot cards, and power the search feature.
• Saved timetables are stored in the app's local database so you can load them again later.
• The primary timetable setting is used to compute and display your current and upcoming class highlights.
• Notification permission is used to schedule local alarms reminding you of upcoming classes. These notifications are generated on-device and are never sent to any server.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the core scheduling functionality.
All timetable data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device using Android's Room persistence library. No data is uploaded to the cloud, shared with third parties, or backed up to external servers by the App.
The security of your data depends on your device's own security features (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong screen lock.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party. Because all data is stored locally and no data is transmitted to us, there is no data in our possession to share.
The only scenario in which your data could be accessed by a third party is if you manually export or share your timetable data using your device's own sharing features — this is entirely at your discretion.
Timetable Schedule is suitable for users of all ages, including students under the age of 13. Because the App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers, it does not implicate laws such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States or equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.
Parents and guardians can feel confident that using this App does not result in any personal data about their child leaving the device.
Because all data is held locally on your device, you have full control at all times:
• Access: Open the App at any time to view all your timetable data.
• Edit: Modify or update any entry directly within the App.
• Delete: Use the Reset Timetable option in the App menu, or delete individual saved timetables, to remove data. Uninstalling the App removes all data permanently.
• Notifications: You can withdraw notification permission at any time through your device's Settings > Apps > Timetable Schedule > Permissions.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you retain rights such as data portability and the right to erasure. Because we hold no data about you, these rights are fully satisfied by the local control you already have over your device.
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media SDKs, or payment processors. The only external libraries used are open-source Android and Kotlin components (such as AndroidX, Material Components, and Room) that do not collect user data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this document. If changes are material, we will notify you through an in-app notice or an update to the app store listing.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
