Chromebook Pranks

Prank #1 The Schoology Restart

This prank will make it so that whenever the unlucky receiver of this prank clicks on Schoology it will close all tabs open on their Chromebook without saving them in your history. To execute this prank you will want to copy this link on the prankees computer: chrome://restart/ . After doing that you will want to right click on their Schoology bookmark ( Or any bookmark that you would like to rig ) and select edit. You will then delete the current link/url, and replace it with the link that you have copied previously. After that enjoy their confusion when attempting to log on to Schoology. To revert their bookmark to normal you will simply want to change the link back to wat is was before.

Prank#2 The Complete Reset

This prank will cause the unlucky receiver of this prank to have his Chromebook factory reset. The only solution to this problem is to close your computer, open it, and sign back in. To execute this prank you will need to find the prankees computer, open it and if they are signed in, click escape, refresh, and the power button at the same time. After that wait for your unsuspecting victim to return to their computer, in shock, and try not to laugh to loud... ;)

Prank #3 The Shutdown Sign Out

This prank will cause the unlucky receiver of this prank to have their chromebook turned off and have them signed out of their account. To execute this prank you will want to find the prankees computer, and click Ctrl. Shift, and q twice all at the same time. To reverse this prank you will want to sign back into their account.

Prank #4 The trick Rick Roll

This prank is a bit more complex that the others on the list. What this prank will do is make a popup appear in the corner of the prankees computer (with a message of your choice), that when clicked on, will send them to a rickroll. What you will want to do first is go the the search bar, and type in this link "chrome://usb-internals/" Then go to youtube and type in rickroll. Go to the video and copy the link. Then go back to Usb internals, and paste the link to the rick roll in the section labeled "Landing page" . In the name section, type in a message that you think the prankee will click on. Then type 123 in the serial number. Click add, close out of the website, and the rickroll, and wait for the prankee to return. If you want to you can turn up the volume as well so the song plays loud, but i do not advise it if it would distract the rest of the class.
