K-6 SUMMER STEAM CAMP
w/ Mr. Schaeffel - STEAM Teacher in Hoover & Ms. Waring - STEAM Teacher
There is an opportunity for your kiddo to be part of SUMMER STEAM Camp! This is different from STEAM at school and STEAM Camp after school. Since the kids will have almost 25 hours in camp, we will be able to dig deeper and spend more time on design challenges, and maker skills through science, technology, engineering, art, and math! All participants will be building projects they will bring home!
Examples of activities: Exploding Paint Rockets, Hand Washing Science Experiment, Rainbow Cloud Experiment, Egg Drop Engineering Project, Energy-Efficient Windows Science Project, Ancient Egypt and the Science of Making Mummies, Heart Pump Model, Cleaning Pennies with Ketchup, Exploding Sidewalk Chalk, Wind Turbine Engineering Project, Make A Water Wheel, Sun Upcycled Crayons, Straw Rockets, Build a Raft Challenge Building a Wiggle Bot, Build a Grabber, Electromagnetics, Build a Hydraulic Claw

There are a limited number of spots for each summer camp, and payment will secure the spot(s)!
