Science and Faith Speaker Training
at Mundelein Seminary
A one and a half-day workshop to prepare Catholic scientists to speak on science and faith topics.
A one and a half-day workshop to prepare Catholic scientists to speak on science and faith topics.
Successful applicants will be awarded a $1000 stipend for attending the workshop and completing the training. An additional $250 stipend will be provided for those who provide a letter of invitation to speak at a local Catholic seminary upon completion of the training.
Free room and board will be provided during the training as well. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Mundelein Seminary. The application deadline is April 1st. Applications are now closed.

Attendees are given guidance on presentation techniques for science and faith talks aimed at a general audience.

Attendees share sample presentations in small groups and receive feedback from experienced mentors.
The goal of this workshop is to increase the effectiveness of Catholic scientists who wish to engage with the general public regarding science and faith issues. Upon completion of the workshops, attendees will be better prepared to deliver effective talks at Catholic seminaries, high schools, colleges, and parishes on science and faith topics.
