Meet The Coach

MyKeia Thomas

 Head Coach and Director,

St. Clair County Volleyball Club (SCCVBC)

MyKeia Thomas, affectionately known as Coach MyKeia, is a woman that wears many hats.

She has become a transformation coach of the mind, body, and soul.

She’s coached volleyball for almost 20 years and has encountered a kid of every kind. It has become her mission to help each kid that she coaches become more aware, responsible, accountable, confident, and able to access the gifts they hold within.

She launched the very first volleyball program at the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center in 2019 where she has coached over 100 kids. She started her own volleyball club (St Clair County VBC) in 2015 winning well over 50 medals, sent over 7 girls to college in volleyball, and created an overnight camp that houses more than 10 girls! The camp is called Mind Over Muscle, or (Camp Mom), where she not only coaches each kid in the areas of physical fitness and fundamentals, but she also teaches them life skills, brings in success coaches, and has former players come over and give back! There’s no program in the world like what she’s created!

Most recently, she has joined the Althoff Catholic High School as their new Assistant Volleyball Coach.

Coach MyKeia has a mission to tell her testimony about how great her God is and how he saved her and continues to order her steps. She truly believes that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask, think, or imagine!

What can I do for your girls?
