Sinclair Hacking Team
Our purpose is to promote cyber security and information technology understanding across the campus communities of Sinclair Community College. Teach the different tools used in both defensive and offensive cyber security. Teach awareness of keeping yourself and your data secure and represent Sinclair at online and offline competitions across the nation.
Varying levels of technical skill among members and executives is valued and welcomed in our organization. Meetings are held every week where security related topics are discussed amongst general and executive members. Meetings consist of presentations from various companies and cyber security professionals, hands on exploration of security related software and techniques, as well as code breaker challenges and general learning of several operating systems.
Diversity is the key in advancing cyber security in our club, campus, city, state, and the nation. Students from all walks of life, experiences, and knowledge are welcome in our club with open arms. We have a zero tolerance policy against any discrimination.
This means that our club and its members will not discriminate against any individual(s) for reasons of age, color, disability, gender identity or expression, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
