You can travel to Dundee from any other major Scottish city using Scotrail services. Dundee train station is located a 20 minute walk away from the University campus. Alternatively, there is a taxi rank outside the station.
Dundee is easily accesabile by bus from other major scottish cities using Stagecoach, FlixBus, or other service providers.
Dundee is 1 hour 30 minutes from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. However, we suggest using public transport as parking is limited. Parking on the University campus is restricted to permit holders only, the nearest pay and display car park is on Hunter Street on the outskirts of campus, but is often full from quite early on in the day. Parking meters accept cash, contactless payment or payment made by phone.
University of Dundee campus is located a 20-25 minute walk away from Dundee city centre or Dundee bus station.
There are frequent bus services by Xplore Dundee from the Bus station/city centre, the number 17 or 5/5a to Ninewells Hospital travels along Perth Road on the outskirts of campus, alight at Airlie Place. The scheduled journey time is 5-10 minutes.
There is a taxi rank outside Steeple church on Nethergate. Ask for the Medical Sciences Institute on Dow Street.
