Psalm II.
March , 2021. The author was trying to involve himself in a new expression of ministry, and could see the door closing from the brethren.
Teach me, Lord. Rabboni! Rabboni!
Call my name, today. If I hear you say it,
I will live again.
When I am reminded that Jesus
knows me,
I remember. That is when Your word lives,
Your word above Your very name.
I am frail and need to hear.
You did, You have spoken so before.
I am before Your word.
Just speak my name. Just once,
and I can be taught.
“Rabboni! Rabboni!” I will say,
“Teach me to live.”
Called out of death and into life,
the One I seek understands,
for this is resurrection. Resurrect me within.
When You speak kingdom promises
To me,
Just to me,
I can turn the corner.
Your throne is prepared.
You will judge the world—
The administration of the ages,
A thousand years.
The resurrected One I seek,
not the one my heart is
on now—an impostor.
I wait on, wait for my Rabboni.
From Rabboni to Ruler,
Rabboni to Ruler!
