You should stand

upon a stage

declaring your organic fame. 

Do you think 

you will receive praise?

Haunting words, rolled eyes

you scuff at all 

who don't know the path you follow. 

Humility is your specialty

do you think others will agree?

I understand your

swallowed tears

I could not breathe for years

I choked on waves,

but learned to restrain. 

Spiked tongue 

to those around you. 

If you saw the effects,

would that change you?

you're like a sunset

as I think worriedly 

your light embraces me

I think of you 

as I breath

you're the essence 

of hope I need

my eyes shine 

just for you 

like stargazing 

just out of view
