As I continued to observe her from my room's window over time, I noticed how it changed.

I was rudely dragged into the chair and rolled over to the table as soon as the door opened.

I kept gazing out the window while the operating room's shouts and sobs came and went.

I also thought what it would be like to leave and explore the outside world for the first time in a very long time as I turned to face the door.

Using his newly acquired strength, he dragged him to the operating room and lifted him onto the table.

His eyes sprang awake as we gathered around the table.

As they say, one eye for one eye.

In an effort to remove the eye's connection to the optic nerve rather than fracturing it, I dug the knife into the eye socket.

I moved away from the table as the light in his eyes started to dim and the others kept dismembering his body.

The table next to her dangling body had a black plastic mask that had one enormous red eye and a blocky half-smile on one side and almost looked like a duplicate of a stained-glass window on the other.
