For a better experience while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email address. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. AI Data Sharing (Third-Party AI Services)
To provide product analysis, nutrition insights, and related smart features, the Application sends certain user-provided data to Google Gemini (operated by Google LLC) as our third-party AI service provider for processing.

Purpose
Data is shared solely for the purpose of generating analysis results, nutrition insights, and chat responses. Data is not used by Google to train their AI models, per Google's enterprise API terms for the Gemini API.

Before sharing any data with Google Gemini for the first time, the Application will display an in-app consent dialog explaining the data sharing. You may withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy → AI Consent, which will disable AI-powered features.

The Application provides nutrition insights, risk assessments (Safe / Warning / Danger), and health-based food recommendations. Such information is provided for general informational and reference purposes only. It is not intended to be medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional healthcare advice.
You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical, nutrition, or dietary decisions, especially in cases involving allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, or other health concerns.

Nutritional thresholds and health recommendations in the Application are referenced from the following authoritative sources:

Citations for specific recommendations (e.g., "WHO recommends <2000mg sodium/day") are displayed within the Application on each analysis result screen so users can verify the source of every recommendation.
4. Third-Party Services
The Application uses the following third-party services. Each service operates under its own privacy policy, which users are encouraged to review on the respective provider's official website:

5. Opt-Out Rights & Account Deletion
In-app account deletion
Users can delete their account and all associated data directly within the Application by navigating to:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. Account data (profile, scan history, chat history, subscription records, uploaded documents) is removed from our servers within 30 days.
A confirmation dialog will be shown before deletion to prevent accidental loss of data.
Email deletion request
Alternatively, users may email exostudio24@gmail.com to request account deletion. We will process the request within 30 days as required by GDPR and CCPA.
Uninstall
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict certain processing activities

7. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User-Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Specifically:
Account data: retained while the account is active; deleted within 30 days after account deletion
Scan history & chat history: retained while the account is active; deleted together with account
Health profile: retained while the account is active; deleted together with account
Data sent to Google Gemini: retained by Google for up to 30 days (see Section 2)
Analytics & crash data: retained per Firebase / AdMob retention policies (typically 14–26 months)
If you'd like the Service Provider to delete User-Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact exostudio24@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the European Union, under GDPR). The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under these age limits.
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided the Service Provider with personal information without their consent, please contact exostudio24@gmail.com. We will delete such information from our servers promptly.
9. Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain, including:
Encryption in transit — all data transmitted between the Application and our servers uses TLS 1.2+
Encryption at rest — sensitive data stored on our servers is encrypted
Access controls — only authorized personnel have access to user data
