The knowledge that your contribution directly supports the arts and culture in Santa Clarita
Bill Miranda is a two-term Mayor of Santa Clarita (2021 and 2025), U.S. Air Force veteran, and a lifelong champion of community and minority causes. After a distinguished corporate career at Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Xerox, and Data General, Bill brought his leadership home to Santa Clarita — the community he has called home for more than 43 years. With a Bachelor's in engineering, a Master's in management systems, and doctoral studies in organizational management, Bill has authored three books, hosted more than 200 episodes of SCV 101 on SCVTV, and currently serves as President of Real SCV and CEO of the Santa Clarita Arts & Cultural Center. He is a storyteller, a servant leader, and a man whose faith has carried him through life's toughest moments.
Faith That Burns Bright: Overcoming Crisis Through Faith is Bill Miranda's deeply personal memoir about the moments in life when everything seems to fall apart — and the faith, resilience, and community that carry us through. Drawing on his own journey from Harlem to the Air Force, the corporate boardroom, and City Hall, this book explores the power of perseverance and the quiet strength that emerges when we choose to believe, even in the darkness. It is a book for anyone who has ever wondered whether they would make it through.
