Scarlett Musician Privacy Policy

Scarlett Systems (the developer) respects the privacy of all its users and strives to ensure data safety by minimising the data collected, disclosing all use-cases of the data, and using the industry's best practices when processing said data.

Scarlett Musician (the app) requires the Android "Audio Recording" permission in order to perform its chromatic tuner functions. Any information including the raw data, the circumstances of the recording of the audio, or data intrinsic to the user's device, is processed exclusively locally, and is never relayed back to any of the developer's, the device manufacturer's, or the application provider's network. All audio data is exclusively analysed in-app to determine an instrument's pitch and is discarded immediately afterwards.
