By commissioning me or taking part in my auctions, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully. Click on the question you are interested in to get all the information!Â
The information on the site is updated periodically.
P.S.: all short important excerpts are indicated in the description under the auctions or information posts.
1. Platform rules. You must comply with the rules of the platform where the auction is hosted.
2. General TOS applies. All my general terms of service (payment, work process, usage rights) apply to all won auctions. By bidding, you agree to them.
3. Bidding & deadline. The starting bid, minimum bid increment, autobuy and end date/time are specified individually for each auction in its description. The end time is fixed unless an autobuy is triggered.
4. Payment & communication. After the auction ends, I will contact the winner within 24 hours to provide payment details.
　- You mast pay within 48 hours.
　- We can discuss the payment plan and reservation if this option is stated in the description.
　- You may write to me first, but always verify that you are communicating with me to avoid scams.
　- We can move to a different platform (e.g., Telegram, Discord) for convenience if needed.
5. Bonus goals. Some auctions may feature bonus goals (e.g., extra art, outfits) unlocked at certain price points.
　- If your winning bid doesn't reach a goal threshold but you would like to unlock a bonus, you may choose to add the difference to meet the desired goal tier after the auction ends.
　- Example: the goal for a bonus sketch is $50. You win with a $40 bid. You can choose to pay an additional $10 to unlock the sketch.
6. Early end. The auction can only end early if the autobuy price is met. I won't end auctions early for any other reason.
7. Bid retraction. You may retract your bid only before the auction's official end time. To do so, please contact me directly, and I will remove your bid. Retracting bids excessively or in bad faith may result in restrictions from future auctions.Â
8. Violations & bans. In case of winner's ghosting, non-payment, or fraudulent activity, I reserve the right to block the user from all my current and future auctions, commissions, and platforms. If the winner doesn't respond or make payment within the stated timeframe (48 hours), it is considered a violation The possibility of unbanning is discussed solely at my discretion.
9. Crossposting. The same auction may be posted on multiple platforms (crossposted). The earliest bid by timestamp is considered the current winning bid. Links to all crossposting locations will be provided in the auction description.
1. Acceptable methods. Payment is accepted via:
　- Boosty (credit & debit cards).
　- Hipolink (PayPal, credit & debit cards).
　- Sberbank (includes Faster Payment System - SBP).
Payment via Boosty & Hipolink. Pay safely with cards or PayPal. You may be asked to log in via email — it's secure. The process is like any online store: enter your details, confirm payment, and you'll receive a receipt. By using the services, you agree to their rules.
2. Fees. You don't need to cover any platform transfer fees. However, if you wish to do so voluntarily, it's always appreciated.
3. Payment schedule. I require 100% payment upfront before any work begins.
4. Refunds. All payments are non-refundable.
5. Holds & reservations. Slots aren't held or reserved without payment, unless explicitly agreed upon otherwise in writing.
1. Start of work. Work commences only after full payment is received.
2. WIP updates. I will provide work-in-progress (WIP) screenshots for your review and approval at key stages. This allows you to request edits before the piece is finalized.
3. Edits & changes. I offer free and unlimited edits during the sketch and coloring stages. This includes:
　- Changing gender, body type, etc.
　- Adding/removing elements (wings, horns, limbs, accessories).
　- Outfit redesign.
　- Other custom wishes are welcome!
4. Deadlines. The estimated completion time depends on the commission's complexity and my current queue, typically ranging from 5 days to 3 weeks. A more specific deadline will be provided upon agreement.
5. Delivery. Upon completion, you will receive high-resolution PNG files with and without a background. Files are usually sent via our original chat (Telegram/Discord/etc.), but I can also send them via e-mail upon request.
1. Full character ownership. Upon full payment, you become the full and complete owner of the character (its name, personality, story, etc.).
2. No imposed rules.
　- You can use, edit, redesign, and resell the character and the original image as you see fit.
　- You can use it for personal projects and most commercial ventures (e.g., small-scale merch for friends, featuring it in your own art, etc.).
　- No complicated rules. You are free to set your own rules and blacklists/whitelists.
　- While not mandatory, crediting me (Scarffist) when posting the artwork online is immensely appreciated.
3. Required attribution.
　- Don't remove my signature from the original artwork file you received from me or claim the artwork as your own creation.
　- Don't train artificial intelligence (AI) models with the artwork.
4. Mass commercial license. My only restriction is on large-scale commercial use. If you plan to use the character for mass production and mass sales (e.g., factory-printed merchandise, NFT collections, major brand promotion, video games with large distribution), you must purchase a mass commercial license from me first.
　- This license is a one-time fee. No royalties or further payments are ever required.
　- After purchasing this license, all restrictions are removed. You can use the character for any purpose, anywhere, forever.
　- This license is non-transferable. If you resell the character, the new owner must purchase their own license for large-scale commercial use.
To purchase a commercial license, please contact me before starting your commercial project. The fee is calculated based on the intended scope of use.Â
1. Copyright ownership. I, Scarffist, retain all copyrights to the created artwork, both economic and moral. This means I hold the original rights to the image.
2. Your rights (license). Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the artwork for personal use.
This means you're granted the right to:
　- Use the artwork for personal projects and most commercial ventures (icons, wallpapers, personal social media profiles, etc.).
　- Repost the artwork online with proper credit to me (Scarffist).
　- Make edits for personal use (e.g., cropping for an avatar, adding stickers, creating collage).
Prohibited uses (You MAY NOT):
　- Use the artwork for mass commercial purposes of any kind (e.g., merchandise, NFTs, promotion of a business, paid advertising, monetized videos/streams) unless a separate commercial license is purchased.
　- Claim the artwork as your own creation.
　- Remove my signature/watermark from the artwork.
　- Train artificial intelligence (AI) models with the artwork.
3. Credit. While not mandatory, crediting me (Scarffist) when posting the artwork online is immensely appreciated.
4. Privacy & portfolio.
　- I reserve the right to display the commissioned work in my online portfolios (social media, galleries, etc.) and use it for self-promotion.
　- If you require the commission to be kept private (not posted publicly), you can ask me about it.
　- If you need a previously posted artwork removed from my social media, please contact me, and I will accommodate your request.
