Scanzo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Scanzo – Free PDF Scanner & Tools (“the app”) handles user data.
Scanzo does not require users to create an account and does not collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
The app works primarily in a local-first manner on your device.
Scanzo allows users to scan documents, select files, and create PDFs.
All scanned documents and PDFs are stored locally on your device in app-private storage.
Files are accessed only when you explicitly choose them using Android’s system file picker (Storage Access Framework).
Documents are not uploaded to our servers.
Files are shared or exported only when you choose to do so using the share or export options.
Scanzo does not automatically share files with third parties.
Scanzo does not request any dangerous runtime permissions such as camera, storage, contacts, microphone, or location permissions.
Document scanning is handled using Google ML Kit’s document scanner through Google Play services.
Scanzo may use Google Play services to enable document scanning functionality.
If ads or analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Since documents remain on your device, you have full control over your files.
Scanzo is not designed for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
