ScanPik is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account or log in to use the app.
Camera: ScanPik requests access to your device camera to let you capture photos of documents for scanning. Photos are processed on your device to create PDF files.
Storage / Files: ScanPik requests access to your device storage to save the PDF files you create and to let you select existing images to convert into PDFs.
Documents, images, and PDF files you create with ScanPik are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, collect, or have access to the content of your scanned documents.
2. Advertising
ScanPik may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob). These networks may collect certain data, such as advertising identifiers and device information, to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. This data collection is governed by the respective advertising network's own privacy policy. Where required, ScanPik will request your consent before showing personalized ads.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the content of your scanned documents with any third party. Limited technical data may be shared with advertising or analytics providers as described above.
4. Data Security
Since your documents are processed and stored locally on your device, their security depends on your device's own security settings. We recommend keeping your device protected with a lock screen and up-to-date software.
5. Children's Privacy
ScanPik is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
