Zero Data Collection & Zero Internet AccessScanOS is built as a 100% offline-first application. - The app does NOT request or use the `android.permission.INTERNET` permission.- We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage metrics, telemetry, or analytics.- All document processing, OCR text recognition, image filtering, and PDF generation occur entirely on your local device.
## 2. Device Permissions UsedThe app requests only the minimum permissions necessary to perform its core offline functions:- **Camera (`CAMERA`)**: Used solely to capture physical documents for scanning within the app.- **Storage / Media Access (`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`)**: Used strictly to allow you to import existing images from your gallery and save exported PDF files to your device storage.
None of your photos, camera streams, or scanned documents are ever uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
## 3. Third-Party Services & AdsScanOS contains:- Zero advertisements- Zero third-party analytics SDKs (No Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)- Zero third-party tracking tools
## 4. Children's PrivacyBecause ScanOS does not collect any personal data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.
