Scanno ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Scanno mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
Camera Access: We use your camera only for scanning barcodes and QR codes. Images are processed locally on your device and are never stored or uploaded to any server.
Scan History: Your scan history is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your history, and it is never sent to our servers. You can delete this data at any time from within the app.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymized usage data (such as which features are most used). This helps us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data, such as your device's advertising ID, to show personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences in your Android device settings.
Our app uses the following third-party services:
Google Play Services: For core app functionality.
Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements.
Firebase Analytics: To help us understand app usage.
Google Play Billing: To process premium subscriptions.
Local Data: All scan history is stored on your device. You can clear it by using the "Clear History" option in the app or by clearing the app's data in your device settings.
Subscription Data: Payment and subscription data are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not store your credit card or billing information.
You have full control over your data. Since we do not collect personal information on our servers, you "delete" your data simply by clearing the app history or uninstalling the app.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at: Email: support@golosoft.com
Users can delete all their scan history and personal data directly within the Scanno app by navigating to the History screen and selecting 'Clear History'. Additionally, users can delete all app data through the Android System Settings.
