1.1 Camera
Scanly requires access to your device camera to scan QR codes and barcodes.
Camera access is used only to provide the scanning functionality.
Images captured through the scanner are processed on your device for the purpose of detecting and reading QR codes and barcodes.
Scanly does not upload camera images or scanned QR/barcode information to our servers.
1.2 Images selected from your device
Scanly allows you to select an image from your device for QR code or barcode scanning.
Selected images are used only for the scanning operation and are processed on your device.
Scanly does not upload your selected images to our servers.
Images selected for scanning are not collected by us as part of a remote data collection system

Other information supported by the scanned code
This information is processed on your device to display the scan result and provide available actions.
Scanly does not send your scanned QR/barcode information to our servers.
1.4 Local scan history
If you enable the local history feature, Scanly stores basic scan information locally on your device using local device storage.
This information may include information necessary to display your scan history, such as the scanned value, code type, title, date and time, and other basic history information used by the application.
Your scan history is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
You can clear your local scan history using the history/settings functionality provided by Scanly.
1.5 Generated QR codes and barcodes
Scanly allows you to generate QR codes and supported barcodes for information such as URLs, text, Wi-Fi networks, and contact information. Generation is performed on your device.
When you save a generated code, it is saved to your device according to the functionality provided by the application.

Your email or SMS QR information
Your location information contained in scanned codes
Scanly does not require you to create an account. Scanly does not contain advertising or third-party advertising trackers.
Scanly is designed to process its core scanning and generation functionality locally on your device.
If you enable scan history, basic history information is stored locally using the application's local storage system.
We do not operate a server that receives or stores your scan results, scanned images, or scan history.
Because this information is stored on your device, deleting Scanly or clearing its application data may remove locally stored information, subject to your device's operating system behavior and any files you separately saved to your device.
3.1 No sale or sharing of scan information
Scanly does not sell, rent, or share your scanned information, scan history, selected images, or generated code information with third parties. We do not use your scan information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or targeted marketing.
3.2 Sharing actions initiated by you
Scanly may provide features that allow you to copy or share information.
When you choose to use a sharing function, the information is passed to the application or service selected by you through your device's operating system.
This sharing is initiated by you and is outside Scanly's control once the information has been transferred to the application or service you selected.
For example, if you choose to share a generated QR code or scan result with another application, that application may process the information according to its own privacy policy.
3.3 Links and external actions
A scanned QR code may contain a website URL or other information that can be opened using another application on your device.
If you choose to open a link or use an external application, that external service may collect or process information according to its own privacy policy.
Scanly does not control the privacy practices of external websites or applications.
Because Scanly is designed to keep scan information on your device rather than on our servers, we generally do not hold a remote copy of your scan information.
