ScanKeep (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the ScanKeep mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

Data extracted from uploaded content (such as merchant name, totals, and dates)

ScanKeep offers paid subscriptions, including a 7-day free trial.

We do not collect, access, or store your payment information.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your platform account settings.
We use third-party service providers to support the App’s functionality. These providers process data solely on our behalf and only as necessary to perform their services.
These services include:
OCR providers (e.g., Google Vision, Tabscanner)
Data processing services (e.g., OpenAI)
Cloud hosting providers (currently Namecheap, with potential migration to AWS)
We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable privacy standards.
Your data is stored on secure systems using industry-standard safeguards designed to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We only share information with service providers as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the App.
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Delete your account and associated data
You can delete your account at any time within the App.
Upon account deletion:
Your account is deactivated immediately
Your associated data is permanently deleted from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, not exceeding 30 days
Limited information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations or prevent fraud and abuse
Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside of your residence, including where our service providers operate.
By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
ScanKeep is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date.”
