ScanIT is a document scanning and PDF utility application that allows users to scan documents, convert images to PDF files, merge PDF files, view PDF files, and manage PDF documents created using the app.
ScanIT may access images, documents, and PDF files that you select or create in order to provide the app's features.
Your scanned documents, selected images, and generated PDF files are processed on your device for the purpose of providing these features.
ScanIT does not upload your scanned documents, images, or PDF files to our own servers.
Files created by ScanIT may be stored on your device and can be opened, shared, or deleted by you.
ScanIT uses camera functionality to allow you to scan documents. Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a document. ScanIT does not use the camera in the background.
The free version of ScanIT displays advertisements using Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may collect or process certain information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, app interactions, and diagnostic information, subject to applicable laws and your consent choices.
Where required by applicable law, ScanIT uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage consent for advertising and related data processing.
ScanIT does not require you to create an account to use its core document and PDF features. We do not operate our own server for collecting your scanned documents or PDF files.
ScanIT may use services provided by Google, including:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Google ML Kit / Document Scanner
Google Play services
Google Play Billing, if purchases are offered through the app
ScanIT may offer optional paid features such as ScanIT Pro. Purchases are processed through Google Play. ScanIT does not directly collect or store your payment card or banking information.
We take reasonable measures in the design of ScanIT to minimize unnecessary access to user information. Documents processed locally remain under the user's control. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
ScanIT is not specifically designed or directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through our own servers.
You can control permissions granted to ScanIT through your Android device settings. You may also manage advertising privacy choices through consent options presented within the app or through your device and Google account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy when ScanIT features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. When this policy is updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
