Thank you for choosing ScanGuru – QR Code Scanner. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the permissions our app requires.

Saved History: If you choose to save scan results, those entries are stored locally on your device only.
We may collect anonymous analytics (e.g., number of scans, app crashes) to improve the app’s performance. This data does not include any personal or identifying information.
To Provide Core Functionality: Decode and display QR/barcode content.
To Store History: Keep a local record of your saved scans for quick access.

We never share your scan data or personal information with third parties.
ScanGuru requests the following Android permissions in order to function properly:
Note: ScanGuru will only ever access these features in direct response to your actions (e.g., you tap “Upload QR Image” to grant storage permission).
Local Storage: All saved scan history and generated QR codes remain on your device.
No Server Collection: We do not transmit or store your scan data on our servers.
Secure Practices: We follow standard Android best practices to keep your data secure on your device.
Ad Networks: We use Google AdMob (or similar) to display ads. These networks may collect anonymous device identifiers for ad personalization. See their respective privacy policies for details.
