Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how ScanFusion handles your information when you use our application.

Information We Collect

ScanFusion is designed to work primarily on your device.

We do not require you to create an account.

We do not collect personal information such as:

• Email Address

• Phone Number

• Postal Address

• Payment Information

• Government Identification

• Contacts

Camera Permission

ScanFusion requests Camera permission only when you choose to:

• Scan documents

• Scan QR codes

Images captured through the camera are processed only for the requested feature.

We do not upload camera images to our servers.

Gallery Access

If you choose to import an image from your device, ScanFusion accesses only the image you select.

The application does not scan or access your complete photo library.

OCR (Text Recognition)

ScanFusion uses Google ML Kit to recognize text from images.

OCR processing is performed on your device.

Recognized text remains on your device unless you choose to share it.

If History is enabled, extracted text is stored locally on your device.

QR Code Scanner

ScanFusion can scan QR codes using your device camera.

QR scan results are processed locally and remain on your device unless you choose to share them.

PDF Generation

ScanFusion allows you to generate PDF files from recognized text.

Generated PDF files are created and stored locally on your device.

We do not upload your PDFs to any server.

Local Storage

The application stores certain information locally on your device, including:

• OCR History

• Generated PDF information

• App preferences

• Theme settings

This information is stored only on your device using local storage.

Sharing

If you choose to use the Share feature, ScanFusion shares only the content you explicitly select using your device's built-in sharing options.

We do not automatically share any files or text.

Internet Permission

ScanFusion may request Internet permission for limited purposes such as:

• Opening the Privacy Policy

• Opening external links

• Supporting future online features

The application does not use Internet permission to collect your personal information.

Data Storage

Your information remains stored locally on your device.

We do not upload your:

• Documents

• Images

• OCR Text

• PDFs

• QR Scan Results

to our servers.

Third-Party Services

ScanFusion uses trusted third-party technologies to provide certain features.

These include:

• Google ML Kit – On-device Text Recognition (OCR)

• Android System APIs – Camera, Gallery, File Storage, Sharing, Printing, and other system functionality

These third-party technologies operate according to their own privacy policies.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your information.

Since ScanFusion stores your data locally on your device, you remain in control of your documents and recognized text.

Children's Privacy

ScanFusion is not specifically intended for children under the age of 13.

Your Rights

You may:

• Delete your scan history

• Delete generated PDFs

• Clear stored application data

• Uninstall the application at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of this page.
