Scan4Paperless Privacy Policy

Scan4Paperless ("the app") provides functionality to scan documents and send them to a paperless server. To achieve this, you must enter the following information into the app:

• Name of the paperless server

• URL under which the paperless server is reachable

• An access token to authenticate against the paperless api

The aforementioned information will only be stored locally on your device and will never be shared with the developer or any other third party. The only exception is the access token, which will be sent to your destined paperless server in order to authenticate against its API. The user of the app is responsible for only using the app with paperless servers that are trustworthy.

In order to provide its service, Scan4Paperless needs to access your phone's camera. It will be used to scan your documents so that they can be sent to a paperless server. The app does not share any of your scanned documents with the developer or a third party. The app does share the scanned documents with your chosen paperless server only. The scanned documents are at no point in time persistently stored on your device.
