ScanPro ("the app") is a document scanning app developed by Abilash AR ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and what it does with it.
ScanPro works entirely on your device. Your documents are never uploaded to us — we have no servers, no user accounts, and no access to anything you scan.
Information the app handles
Documents and scans. Pages you capture or import are processed (cropping, enhancement, PDF creation, text recognition) entirely on your device and stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are never transmitted to us or any third party by the app.
Camera and photo library. The app requests camera access to scan documents and photo library access to import existing photos. Images are used only for the scans you create.
Text recognition (OCR). OCR runs fully on-device using your operating system's built-in text recognition. Recognized text stays on your device with the document.
Sharing and exporting. When you explicitly share, print, or export a document, it is handed to the app or service you choose (for example email, messaging, or printing). What happens to it there is governed by that service's privacy policy.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, and no tracking, and it sends no data to us.
Advertising
The current version of ScanPro does not show ads.
A future update may introduce advertising provided by Google AdMob. If and when ads are shown, Google may collect device information (such as advertising identifiers) to provide and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). This policy will be updated when advertising is enabled.
Data retention and deletion
Your documents remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes all app data. We cannot delete your data for you because we never have it.
Children
ScanPro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change (for example, when advertising is enabled), we will update this policy and revise the effective date above.
