When you register as a Delivery Partner on Scale Local Rider, we may collect the following information:

• Mobile Number

• Password (Encrypted)

• Confirm Password (Used only during registration and not stored separately)

• Vehicle Type (Bike or Car)

• Driving License Number

• Delivery Zone

• Referral Code (Optional)

• Residential Address

Vehicle & Identity Documents

To verify your eligibility as a delivery partner, we may collect:

• Driving License (Front Image)

• Driving License (Back Image)

• Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) Front Image

• Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) Back Image

These documents are collected solely for rider verification, onboarding, fraud prevention, safety, and compliance with applicable laws.

B. Sign In

Delivery partners can access their accounts using:

• Email Address

• Password

C. Location Information

Scale Local Rider requires access to your device location, including precise and background location while you are online and actively delivering orders.

Location information is used to:

• Assign nearby delivery requests

• Show available delivery zones

• Enable navigation

• Track active deliveries

• Share live rider location with customers during active deliveries

• Improve delivery accuracy

• Calculate delivery distance and estimated arrival time

• Monitor delivery progress

Background location is accessed only while you are online or actively completing deliveries.

D. Order Information

We collect information related to delivery orders, including:

• Assigned Orders

• Pickup Location

• Delivery Location

• Order Status

• Delivery Time

• Delivery Distance

• Order Completion Details

E. Earnings & Payment Information

To process rider earnings, we may collect:

Scale Local Rider does not collect or store:

• Debit Card Numbers

• Credit Card Numbers

Location tracking stops when you go offline or stop accepting deliveries.

We do not sell your personal information.

• Customers (limited information such as rider name and live location during active deliveries)

Background Location

To continue tracking deliveries while the Rider is actively completing an order.

Notifications

To notify Riders about delivery requests, order updates, and account activities.

Phone

To allow Riders to contact customers or stores directly.

Foreground Service

To support continuous location tracking during active deliveries.

10. Referral Program

If you participate in the Refer & Earn program, we may collect and process referral codes and referral activity for reward eligibility and promotional purposes.

11. Account Deletion

Delivery partners may request deletion of their Scale Local Rider account by submitting an account deletion request or contacting our support team.

When your account is deleted:

• Saved Address

• Vehicle Details

• Referral Information

• Login Credentials

Data That May Be Retained
Certain information, including completed delivery history, earnings records, payment records, and legally required documents, may be retained for a limited period to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or tax obligations.

12. Children's Privacy

Scale Local Rider is intended only for individuals who are legally eligible to work as delivery partners.

The application is not intended for children under the age of 18.
