Scale Us Technologies LLP operates the Scale Interior mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Scale Interior.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

Scale Interior requires users to create an account or sign in to access account-enabled features. The App supports the following sign-in methods:

• Email and Password: Users can register using their email address and a password.

• Google Sign-In: Users can register or sign in using their Google account.

We use Firebase Authentication, where configured, to manage user registration and authentication.

Depending on the sign-in method, the authentication service may process:

• Email address.

• Firebase user identifier (UID).

• Authentication provider.

• Account creation and sign-in timestamps.

• Authentication-related technical information.

We use account registration information to manage user accounts and determine the number of accounts registered with Scale Interior.

Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not intended to be stored in the App's local project database.

1.2 Locally Stored App Data

Scale Interior stores interior design projects and related app content locally on your device. This may include:

• Interior design projects and room details.

• Design preferences and settings.

• Saved designs and design history.

• Generated images and exported files.

• Other information created while using the App.

This content is intended to remain on your device and is not uploaded to our own cloud database for project synchronization or backup as part of the standard local-storage functionality.

Local data may be permanently removed if you delete it, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App.

1.3 Information Submitted to AI Services

Scale Interior may provide AI-assisted interior design, room redesign, image analysis, and visualization features.

If you use these features, your prompts, design instructions, room photographs, measurements, and other information you choose to submit may be transmitted to the configured AI service, such as Google Gemini, to process your request.

AI features require an internet connection. Information sent to an AI provider is subject to that provider's applicable privacy policy and terms.

Please avoid submitting passwords, financial information, confidential documents, or other sensitive information in AI prompts or photographs.

1.4 Technical and Diagnostic Information

If diagnostic services are enabled, technical information such as app version, device information, crash reports, and error details may be processed to diagnose issues and improve app reliability.

The information collected depends on the diagnostic services enabled in the released version of the App.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Create and authenticate user accounts.

• Allow users to sign in using email/password or Google Sign-In.

• Maintain account registration records and count registered accounts.

• Provide interior design and AI-assisted features.

• Save and manage design projects locally on the device.

• Diagnose errors and improve app stability.

• Maintain security and prevent misuse.

• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell users' personal information.

3. Authentication and Registered Account Counting

Firebase Authentication may be used to create and authenticate user accounts.

When a user registers or signs in, the authentication service processes the information required to provide authentication. We may access account-related metadata, including a Firebase UID, email address, authentication provider, and account creation timestamp, where made available by our configuration.

We use account registration records to understand how many accounts have been created for Scale Interior and to manage the App.

Account registration information is separate from locally stored interior design projects. Registering or signing in does not, by itself, require users' design projects to be uploaded to our own cloud database.

4. Data Storage and Sharing

4.1 Local Storage

Interior design projects, saved designs, and related app content are intended to be stored locally on your device.

We do not provide cloud synchronization or cloud backup of these projects as part of the standard local-storage functionality described in this policy.

4.2 Account Storage

Account information is processed through Firebase Authentication or the authentication service configured in the App. Limited account metadata may be stored or made available through that service for authentication, account management, and registration counting.

4.3 Third-Party Services

Depending on the features enabled and used in the released version, the App may interact with the following third-party services:

Firebase Authentication: For account registration and sign-in.

Google Gemini or another configured AI provider: To process prompts, room photographs, and other information submitted for AI-assisted features.

Firebase diagnostic services: If enabled, to help identify crashes and technical problems.

Google AdMob: If advertising is enabled, AdMob and its partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, IP addresses, ad interactions, and other information according to their applicable policies and settings.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted to third-party providers when necessary to deliver a feature you choose to use, maintain the App, protect its security, or comply with legal obligations.

5. Photos, Files, and Permissions

The App may request access to the camera, photo picker, media, or files when you choose to capture, select, import, or export content.

You can deny optional permissions, although some features may not work without them.

Photos and design files you select may be processed locally or transmitted to an AI provider when you use a feature that requires remote AI processing.

We do not claim ownership of photographs, designs, or other content you provide.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

6.1 Locally Stored Data

Projects and designs remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App.

6.2 Account Information

Account information may be retained by the authentication service while your account exists and may be retained for a limited period where necessary for security, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.

Deleting local app data or uninstalling the App does not necessarily delete your authentication account.

6.3 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Scale Interior account and associated account information through the account deletion functionality provided in the App, if available, or by contacting us at:

We will review and process eligible requests in accordance with applicable law and relevant service-provider requirements.

Account deletion and removal of locally stored project data are separate actions. Deleting an account may not automatically delete local files, and deleting local files may not delete the authentication account.

Information already processed by third-party AI, advertising, or diagnostic providers may be subject to their own retention and deletion policies.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your device and account credentials.

If you configure an AI API key, do not share it publicly or expose it in screenshots, public code repositories, or shared project files.

8. Children's Privacy

Scale Interior is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children under 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Where applicable law requires a different minimum age or additional protections, those legal requirements apply.

9. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on the features available in your version of the App, you may:

• Choose email/password or Google Sign-In.

• Delete locally saved projects and designs.

• Revoke camera, media, or notification permissions through device settings.

• Request deletion of your account.

• Manage your Google account and third-party service settings.

• Control advertising personalization through applicable Google or device settings.

Some features may not work if you sign out, delete your account, or revoke permissions required by those features.

10. International Data Processing

When you use Google Sign-In, AI features, or other third-party online services, information may be processed on servers located outside your country.

Such processing is subject to the applicable provider's terms, privacy practices, and relevant legal requirements.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, services, or legal requirements change.

The updated policy will be published at the applicable Privacy Policy URL with a revised “Last Updated” date.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
