"Scaffolding Homeschool, with a rich history of assisting students since 2007 through personalized 1:1 tutoring, has now expanded its services to the public. As an experienced homeschooling educator, I've worked with family and friends, and I'm excited to extend my expertise to help children excel in all subjects from JK to Grade 8.

My Onine tutoring sessions are primarily conducted online using a dedicated platform, The Lesson Space. This engaging virtual space facilitates seamless connections between me and my students, incorporating video, audio, resource sharing, real-time screen sharing, and collaborative editing. If you prefer an alternative platform, I'm flexible and accommodating.

During these challenging times, my aim is to alleviate your stress as a parent. I understand the complexities of managing various responsibilities at home, and I are here to provide the support you need. I am committed to fostering engagement, sharing knowledge, and ensuring your children stay on track with their academics remotely.

How does the online tutoring process work?

Once enrolled, you'll receive a unique URL serving as your dedicated online meeting space. Simply click and connect with your tutor hassle-free.

Is any download required to start online tutoring?

No downloads needed! Just click the provided link, enter your first name and email, and you're instantly entered into the virtual space to meet your tutor.

What features does the online space offer?

The platform, crafted by tutors, includes video and voice capabilities, screen sharing, a whiteboard, coding applications, math tools, real-time editing, and more.

Is the platform compatible with different devices?

Yes, Lessonspace is device agnostic, adapting to various devices and browsers. For the best experience, we recommend Chrome or Firefox.

What internet speed do I need?

For smooth 1-on-1 lessons, a minimum of 1mbit/s symmetrical connection is recommended. Lessonspace has minimal bandwidth requirements for an optimal experience.
