All SCAAE active members are eligible to receive a one-time assistance stipend up to $200.00 to assist in an extreme time of need from the SCAAE Agricultural Educator Relief Fund. In the case of a deceased SCAAE active member, the surviving spouse or dependent(s) may receive the one-time assistance stipend. In extreme situations, such as the progression of a catastrophic illness, the same SCAAE member may receive one additional stipend up to $200 from this fund, with the second stipend granted at least 12 months after the initial stipend. The application must be submitted by an active SCAAE member either on behalf of another active member or for themselves.
The NAAE Agricultural Educator Relief Fund is designed to assist individual NAAE active members during a time of personal crisis or need. NAAE members may receive up to a $500 stipend to help them through a difficult time. The fund is made possible by the support of state associations and private donors. Applications must be submitted to NAAE from the state agricultural education association leadership on behalf of a NAAE active member. There is no deadline for submitting applications for this program. Applications should be submitted at the time of the need.
Please reach out to any SCAAE Board member for assistance with this application.
